Description

This exercise is a classic workout for the so-called "lower abs". As always we would like to specify that the rectus abdominis muscle is a unique and wide muscle, but has areas that can be stimulated and strengthened through targeted exercises.

The case of the abdominals with elevation of the legs in 4 strokes is one example: thanks to the alternating elevation and lowering of the legs, the lower abdomen will be stimulated more effectively.

How to do it

  1. 1In a supine position, keep your legs slightly raised off the ground
  2. 2Lift one leg forming a right angle with the abdomen. Subsequently, raise the other leg bringing it in parallel.
  3. 3Lower the raised leg first keeping the abdomen contract. Perform the same movement with the other leg and return to starting position.

⚠️ Common mistakes

  • Place the heel on the ground at the end of the movement.

Now you know how it is done. In the app it joins the other exercises and becomes a multi-week plan.
