Description

Doing push-ups with your hands at chest width puts greater pressure on the triceps and inner pecs, leading to better gains. This compound exercise will sculpt your chest muscles, strengthen your core, and improve your functional fitness. It also increases overall strength and endurance.

How to do it

  1. 1Get on your hands and feet. Keep your hands on the floor apart from each other until elbows form an angle that is approximately 90.
  2. 2Lower yourself slowly so that your chest is almost touching the floor.
  3. 3Squeeze your triceps and pecs to push yourself up to the starting position. Hold the contraction at the top of the movement.

⚠️ Common mistakes

  • Arching your back
  • Keeping your chin and jaw too close to your chest
