Description

Tricep bends, better known as “Dips”, are exercises that are well known and appreciated for the work done on triceps, pectorals and front deltoids.

Among the different variations of "Dips", this is particularly suitable for both workouts at a gym or at home because, if you do not have a fitness bench, you can use any other type of support, such as a simple chair.

How to do it

  1. 1Put your hands on the edge of the bench, keeping your arms semi-flexed with the elbows as close as possible to the body. The legs slightly bent, resting on the heels.
  2. 2Lower yourself with a slow and controlled movement until elbows form an angle that is approximately 90.
  3. 3By forcing on triceps, slowly return to starting position.

⚠️ Common mistakes

  • Completely extending arms during ascent
  • Widening elbows during descent

Now you know how it is done. In the app it joins the other exercises and becomes a multi-week plan.
